Macy's Birthday Party!

Today we had Macy's 4th birthday party here at home. We actually had 9 people sleep over last night! Steve, Mackenzie and Taylor slept over and then my mom, Sara, Ross, and their 3 kids-toby, chloe and alex. wooh! Busy, busy busy. Her party went well though. The kids had fun playing and Macy opened presents, we broke the pumpkin pinata, and we all ate pizza! I can't believe she's 4 already. Here are some pics from her birthday party.

Zoo boo!

Saturday night we went with Steve, Mackenzie and Taylor to Zoo Boo at Como Zoo. Macy dressed as tinkerbell and had a great time trick or treating.

Thanks for coming to our first BBQ. I can't believe I forgot to take pictures so I don't have any to share...oh well....We had a great time and so happy that so many friends and family were able to join us!

Birthdays!

Last weekend we went to Wisconsin and celebrated Tristan's 4th birthday and Toby's 9th birthday. Lots of fun. Macy enjoyed seeing and playing with her cousins.

Madison Trip

Macy and I had a lot of fun in Madison this week! We got to see some of my oldest friends (emily and erin) and their children! Henry and Morgan are soo cute and Macy loved playing with them and going to the zoo. She also had fun swimming with Emily and Henry.

Summer Storm!!

Well everybody---we had quite a storm here last weekend! We woke up around 3:30am to sounds of trees falling and then the power went out. The tree in front of the house fell down, towards the house and not my car! Two trees in the back fell down....but not the dead branch that we've been waiting to fall. Our nice pine tree by the garage fell down into macy's swimming pool. It broke off in two different spots...one part of the tree is in the pool and the other part was in the neighbor's yard. The streets behind us were littered with trees. One tree absolutely smooshed a car--it was such a big tree and lifted up the sidewalk with it when it fell over. It was a crazy storm. We ended up not having electricity for 3 days and it was about 100 degrees so we ended up at a hotel! Anyway here are some of the pics from the storm.

I wanted to share three pictures that were on my cell phone. One is of Greg on the bee ride at the taste of Minnesota...it was sooo funny...and he matches! One is of macy at the twins game on Greg's birthday. And the last one if of me and Macy --it's my new favorite picture!

Thank you!

We just wanted to thank Kenny and Troy for all their help with the heavy stuff last Saturday. We'd still be going up and down those stairs if we didn't have you help. Thank you!
We are almost all moved in and we just have all the kitchen stuff, odds and ends, TV, and all the cleaning left to do! We are exhausted but we just have to remember that by next week we will be all done and all moved in and ready to go with our new house!

It's Ours!

We got a surprise on Monday and found out our closing date was scheduled for this Wednesday and not next week! Ahhh! We went to the closing today and signed the million papers and I think I almost threw up. So nervous. But if you just concentrate on signing the papers you don't really think about everything that comes with the signing. Here are some pictures of the inside of the house.

I was standing in the living room so you can see some of the living room and the dining room and the door to the kitchen. Below is more of the dining room. Below right is Macy's room.

This is a picture of our bedroom. Yeah, the paint is going to be redone and those curtains are coming down. and the bathroom is small but cute.

Look at this kitchen!! Isn't that stove and oven crazy! Someday we will be redoing the kitchen. Maybe next year. The picture on the right is of the upstairs. There is a large playroom area and another bedroom.

There is also a screened in front porch and a mudroom. There is a lot of work for us to do! Greg is going to be sanding and staining the wood floors this weekend, then we'll do some painting before we move in.

New House and Fun in the Sun!

Here are some pictures of our house that we will be closing on next week! Next week we'll post some pics of the inside! One more week and it will be ours!!

We've also been having a lot of fun spending time outside swimming, canoing, doing fireworks, and just hanging out. We had a lot of fun at Greg's Dad's house, Greg's Mom's house, and Dave's cabin party. I still can't figure out how to put the pictures in the post where I want them...so....the outside pics are first and the house pics are second. someday I will figure it out.

New cousin for Macy!

Greg's sister Karrin had her baby on June 21. He's adorable and his name is Jaxon. here are a few pictures and a picture of Macy with her cousin Alexis (Jaxon's big sister).

we've been going to the beach in Eagan the past couple of weekends. it's seriously the best beach in the cities.
